Misery, WORLD, John Reynolds Three of Cite’s favourite New Zealand artists have each reinterpreted and transformed the iconic Panton Classic – celebrating its 50th birthday in 2010 – and one of these fantastic chairs could be yours! Those good boys Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have gained another accolade for their iconic Slow Chair. Named Best in Show – Chair by the annual Urbis Best of Design Awards, the modern classic was recognised for elegantly marrying “the wide-arsed comfort of a living room chair with the lightweight and casualness of a pool-side settee”.
